Thank you APOST for giving me this precious opportunity to participate the 19th UMMC Advanced skullbase dissection course. It was a wonderful experience to join the course and learn from Professor Dato Dr Prepageran Narayanan. I joined both the anterior and lateral skull base dissection courses. Both courses were structurally conducted from basic to advance with final exposure to the skull base. I cannot be more amazed to view the intricate and delicate skull base anatomy from both anterior and lateral aspect while giving me a complete picture to the region. The dissection from Prof Prepageran was clear and educational and he allowed me to learn from his superb dissection skills. The course instructors were helpful and provided time to time support during our dissection. I will give my highest recommendation to future candidate who are interested in this particular field as I believe this course will indeed serve great value to our future career.

I am forever indebted to APOST Otorhinolaryngology for granting me the golden opportunity of participation in Advanced Endoscopic Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base dissection workshop at University of Malaya,Kuala Lumpur from 19-20 th February 2019 , having Prof Dato Dr. Prepageran Narayanan as key instructor. The workshop was well organised ,fresh cadaver and best equipment were provided for cadaveric dissection.Prof Prepageran demonstrated Fess and Anterior Skull Base approaches in detail and was eager to answer our doubts. Dr Revathi and Dr Wong continued to supervise and guide us to do better. I found this workshop very helpful to improve and learn new skills and concepts that I can apply henceforth for benefit of patients. I would urge APOST to continue this as their workshops provide unique opportunity for learning and upgradation. Thank you very much team APOST.

The hands on course not only cleared my concepts but also developed my interest in skullbase surgery. The cadaveric dissection done by Professor Dato’Prepageran was outstanding. He is a great teacher. This wonderful opportunity was possible only because of APOST. I am very grateful that APOST provided me scholarship for this workshop.

First of all, I would like to thank to APOST for giving me a chance to attend otology and lateral skull base course in UMMC. This course is very informative and useful for my career. Course director and all the instructors are very good at teaching and dissection. They showed me the way how to drill and all anatomical structures in skull base in every step of dissection. Although I am a Rhinologist, I can learn surgical skills (how to do and the way to avoid the important and danger anatomical structures) from this course. So I think I can do more in ear surgeries in future by attending this course because of my improvement in surgical skills. But one downside was that my cadaver was formalin fixed and I had no chance to do neck surgery in cadaver. My feelings about this course was that I didn't get a chance to see APOST members and could not learn dissection from Apost faculty like other course and no chance to take a photograph together. So I feel sorry for that although UMMC is good for me. I hope I can join in other Rhinology course given by APOST in future.
